During my time at Chegg, I had the unique opportunity to art direct and lead in-house studio photography, producing high-quality, engaging visual content. These photographs became the cornerstone for a wide array of digital assets, designed to boost engagement, drive conversions, and support brand initiatives across various platforms.

Staging to propel marketing efforts
I spent countless hours thoughtfully staging each photoshoot, striking a balance between artistic direction and commercial needs. Along the way, I refined my skills in lighting, composition, and visual storytelling. Every shoot was meticulously planned to create imagery that could be adapted across various marketing materials. We made the most of having our summer interns in the office, recruiting some as models. From conceptualizing the scene and sourcing props to coordinating talent and executing the final shots, I ensured every detail aligned with brand values and objectives.

Versatile, multi-platform content
The photos from these studio shoots were leveraged across a range of digital assets, including social ads, email newsletters, landing pages, and promotional materials. The strategic flexibility of the shots allowed us to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic while easily adapting them for diverse formats and channels.

Collaboration is key
Throughout this process, I gained invaluable experience working alongside senior designers and our Creative Director. This also ended up becoming more cross-functional when we asked our coworkers to be "models" in the studio.

Outcome
This opportunity allowed me to seamlessly merge my design expertise with my love for photography, resulting in content that not only met but exceeded marketing goals.
