PRODUCT CARDS
We all want a sneak peek into products before we use them! It has been a rewarding journey to shape the representation of our product, before conversion, to better engage our customers.
ROLE: Creative Direction, Design, Animation, Research
TEAM: Claire Fraze, Nancy Qian, and Chaella Dent
ITERATION ONE
The initial set of cards was predominantly composed of screenshots extracted directly from our product interface, ultimately lacking much of a strategic design foresight. As our brand continued to evolve, it became evident that these cards needed a redesign, driven by two key objectives:
1. Streamline the content to enhance understanding of the product experience and its benefits.
2. Revamp the design of the product cards to give them a more captivating aesthetic, aligning seamlessly with the vibrancy and appeal of LWC 2.0, making them not only informative but also visually engaging and enjoyable.
ITERATION TWO
Beginning the second iteration with a near-complete overhaul mindset, we took substantial steps backward, critically examining why the initial set of cards fell short and identifying the elements worth keeping.
This set marked the inaugural use of colors from our tertiary palette, contributing significantly to the overall rejuvenation of the cards' appearance. The enhanced design not only radiated vibrancy but also gave the cards versatility to function as standalone components.
These revamped cards served as a more intuitive tool for users, effortlessly communicating features & values.
ITERATION THREE
In the latest rendition of the cards, we showcase the refreshed UI of the product experience. Deliberately embracing simplicity, our aim was to ensure clear communication of our message. Throughout the creative process, our primary focus was on providing users with a comprehensive understanding of our product's value in enhancing their student journey.
Featuring a clean outline and subtle drop shadow, the content on the cards is able to stand out. Their adaptability shines through as they seamlessly integrate with various contexts, whether against a gradient background, alongside photography, or harmonizing with diverse design elements.
